PLEASE NOTE
The Social Work Licensing Board Meeting scheduled for Monday, February 8th has been cancelled due to the weather. If you have a license renewal that was to be reviewed, please note; The Board follows the guidelines set forth in the Administrative Procedures Act that states: "When a licensee has made timely and sufficient application for the renewal of his/her license, the existing license shall not expire until the application has been determined by the Board." Source: Arkansas Code 25-15-211 (b)

The Social Work Licensing Board was created by Act 791 of
1981 for the purpose of regulating the practice of social work in Arkansas

The mission of the Social Work Licensing Board is to protect the public by setting standards of qualification, training and experience for those who seek to represent themselves to the public as social workers and by promoting high standards of professional performance for those engaged in the practice of social work.
