The Arkansas Senate has set up a memorial fund for donations to commission a bust of former Lieutenant Governor Winthrop P. Rockefeller, to be displayed in the State Capitol it Little Rock. As Lieutenant Governor, Rockefeller presided over the Senate. He was elected in November, 1996, and passed away in office on July 16, 2006. Donations may be made out to the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Memorial Fund and sent to Ms. Ann Cornwell, Secretary of the Senate, State Capitol Building, Room 320, Little Rock, Arkansas 72201.
Fundraiser planned for April 1, 2008.
