Job seekers: Do you want to assure employers that you have the necessary skills for the job? Desire a skills credential that builds confidence and increases your chances for hire? Then you need an Arkansas Career Readiness Certificate! The certificate is signed by Governor Mike Beebe and confirms to employers that you have basic workplace skills in reading, math and locating information - skills that all jobs require.
The Career Readiness Certificate was implemented in Arkansas by the Governor's Workforce Cabinet to help job seekers improve their skills so they can meet the needs of employers. To obtain a CRC, you need to successfully complete the KeyTrain® instruction and WorkKeys® assessments, where you'll earn a bronze, silver or gold certificate. Since 2008, more than 2500 employers in Arkansas have hired job seekers who have a CRC. The best part, it's free to you!
