Summary of Changes

TEA 3700 – 3740 is a new section of policy which provides procedures for referring TEA recipients who are subject to the time-limit and are required to participate in TEA work activities but allege a long-term disability to Arkansas Rehabilitation Services (ARS) for an assessment and possible services. 

TEA 2430 – 2430.1 has been revised to include the requirement to make a referral to ARS if a person is being deferred from TEA work activity participation because of an alleged long-term disability.
