Summary of Changes

MS 3330 has been revised to incorporate language stating that benefits paid out in a Qualified Long Term Care Insurance Partnership policy may be used as an asset disregard when determining eligibility for Medicaid. 

MS 21700-21710 has been revised to incorporate language stating that the remaining assets that were protected under the Qualified Long Term Care Partnership policy will be disregarded in estate recovery. 

MS 20000-20070 is a new section incorporating policy and procedures to disregard as an asset an amount up to the amount of benefits paid out by a Qualified Long Term Care Insurance Partnership policy when determining Medicaid eligibility.
