Subj:   Earning Disregard - Nursing Facility Residents 

Summary of Changes

MS 3343.1 has been revised to clarify that a nursing facility resident with earnings may be given a disregard of up to $100.00 of the monthly earnings provided they have documentation from a physician prescribing employment activity as a therapeutic or rehabilitative measure.  The words “who receive intermediate care” have been deleted.
