               Summary of Changes

The attached Appendix provides the 2001 Federal Poverty Level income guidelines to be effective April 1, 2001 for the following categories:

1. Medicare Savings Programs:

QMB, SMB, QI-1 and QI-2 - MS 23110 #7

QDWI - MS 23515 #4

2. Working Disabled - MS 28015 #7
3. Transitional Medicaid - MS 2062.3
4. ARKids First:

ARKids A - MS 5730

ARKids B - MS 2330 #8

5. SOBRA Pregnant Women - MS 5730
6. Family Planning Demonstration Waiver - MS 5914 #1

These income guidelines will supersede the 2000 figures in Appendix F.

Instructions for processing SSA COLA changes for QMB, SMB, QI-1 and QI-2 cases are being issued to county offices under separate cover.
