Summary of Changes
Social Security Enumeration policy for individuals under 18 years of age had been revised to include acceptance of form SSA-2853, (Receipt for enumeration at Birth) as proof of application for an SSN.
This policy is consistent with Food Stamp and TEA policy and separate instructions will be issued.
