Summary of Changes
Policy has been revised at MS 1310 to reflect the clarification provided in screen message #1123 dated October 13, 1999, concerning Child Support referrals. When a child is removed from the custody of his or her parent(s) by court order and fault is assigned to the parents, refer the parent(s) to Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). If a child is voluntarily placed in a facility, by the parents (e.g., child is abusive), only refer the parent that was absent from the home at the time of placement.
