Can I apply online? -Can I include a resume?
If you application was advertised for a continuously advertised position, it will remain in the application pool for 60
days.-
If you application was submited for an advertised postition, it is active for that posititon only.
Yes a resume can be included with your online or paper application.
How long will my application stay active?-
While you are welcome to send a resume, we prefer that resumes be accompanied by a complete application in order that you receive full credit foryour education and experience.
How do I find out what positions are open? -
Check AR State Jobs of the DHS website.
Where's my password for AR State Jobs? -
A link to set your password is sent to the e-mail address you enter when registering.
I'f you can't find the e-mail be sure to check your bulk or spam folders
What does it mean if fit says 'no closing date' or if the location is the entire state? -
These are positions that are continuoulsy advertised. When applying for these postitions you must complete a DHS addendum 1143, which will tell
us which counties and divisions you are willing to work in.
Why is there a range listed for the salary? -
The hiring supervisor may set a higher salary based on funds available and the applicant's experience.
How will i know if you got my application?-
Check your AR State Jobs homepage. All positions you have applied for will be listed there. you should also receive a letter by mail on whether ornot you meet the minimum qualifications, within 10 days.
